Which ID Tag Should You Get For Your Dog?
Like most family pets, the much loved family dog is a genuine member of the family. Loved in just the same way as any other member of the family, and getting plenty of treats and fun times as well.
One such way you can show your dog some love is to shower him or her with gifts. A good and easy to read doggy ID tag is a way to help keep your dog safe by providing identification if they ever become lost.
Simply have the reverse of the tag engraved with the details of your dog’s name, and then a contact telephone number or address. This is easy and obvious really, but still very effective!
It also provides a fun element, something that gets the whole family talking. It’s a great way to extend the personality of your dog and add some of your own personality into the mix. So you brand your dog and your dog brands you.
If he or she is a confident pooch then you could buy them a dogs ID tag with some real Bling to it, or if they are big on bones, then why not get them a tag in the shape of a bone, or a regular disc that has an image of a bone set into it.
Your dog deserves some dressing up from time to time, trying on new “outfits” and “clothing” for their next journey, just as much as you do. If you have an event coming up, then I’m pretty sure they want to look their best as well.
Now they can, and the range of styles available is so vast that you could easily spend a week just looking and still not reach the end! But it will always be just a lot of fun just looking at what is actually available.
If your dog is a female, then you could go super cool and get them a Pink glittery dog bone shaped ID tag for dogs that will make everyone smile as she walks past them smiling and proudly strutting her “stuff”.
For the uncompromising man of the house (or dog of the house) you could go for a dog tag that simply says “Boss” upon it and then let them enjoy their new sense of power. You will often see that many dog owners like to even create a character or persona for their pet dog!
Most types of dog ID tags are made from strong, rugged metal, brushed stainless steel, or even powder coated steel. They are there as a bit of fun, apart from the vet tags that provide contact details if the dog is ever found away from it’s owners. You can even personalize them after you buy them if you have an artistic streak in you and you can do this in an almost unlimited number of ways if required, from cute, through to stylish and downright crazy!
